2025 PWS International Conference-Save the Date Packet (1)A Milestone for the PWS Community

For the first time, these three leading organizations are joining forces to unite the global PWS community. By coming together, we aim to leverage our shared expertise and resources to further advance the understanding, treatment, and support of those affected by PWS. This collaboration emphasizes the power of working together to bring hope and progress to individuals and families around the world.

Our theme, "United in Hope," serves as a call to action for clinicians, scientists, parents, professional providers, caregivers, and individuals with PWS to bring their knowledge, experiences, and aspirations to this transformative event. Together, we will learn, share, and build stronger connections that will pave the way for advancements in research and care.

Programs Tailored to the Community

The 2025 conference will feature three distinct programs designed to cater to the diverse needs of the PWS community:

Medical & Scientific Program: A two-day event focusing on the latest research findings in PWS genetics, neurobiology, therapeutic development, and clinical trials. This will be the largest and most comprehensive scientific gathering on PWS, with both oral and poster presentations. We encourage scientists, researchers, and medical professionals to submit abstracts, with the submission website launching soon.

Professional Providers Program: This program is aimed at healthcare professionals and caregivers who are integral to the well-being of individuals with PWS. Over two days, attendees will engage in workshops and presentations that share best practices, explore new methods of care, and foster collaborative learning. Topics will range from behavioral management and autonomy to aging, relationships, and diagnostic instruments.

Adults with PWS Program: For adults living with PWS, this program is aimed at providing support, education, and empowerment to individuals navigating life with Prader-Willi syndrome. Attendees will engage in insightful discussions, attend informative sessions, and connect with peers and experts in the field.

Family Program: For families and caregivers, the two-day family program offers tailored learning tracks, relationship-building opportunities, and access to top specialists in PWS and Schaaf-Yang syndrome (SYS). This is a time for families to connect, have fun, and gain valuable insights into the complexities of supporting a loved one with PWS or SYS.
