FPWR Announces Executive Committee Appointments and Welcomes New Board Members for 2025

The FPWR board of directors is committed to eliminating the challenges of PWS and SYS through the advancement of research and therapeutic development.

The Foundation for Prader-Willi Research (FPWR) is excited to announce key updates to its board leadership and membership for 2025. With these changes, FPWR continues to prioritize its mission of eliminating the challenges of Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) and Schaaf-Yang syndrome (SYS) through the advancement of research and therapeutic development.

Exec Board 2025The new Executive Committee members are as follows:

  • Brian Carucci appointed as Board President, succeeding Paul Wissman
  • Matt Blickley appointed Treasurer, succeeding Brian Carucci
  • Renee Snyder appointed Secretary, succeeding Amber Roberson

FPWR is also pleased to welcome our newest board member, Will Greene, who is joining us for a three-year term (2025-2028), and welcome back Ian Alberg, who will be completing his term, ending July 2025. 

We also wish to thank our current board members for their ongoing service:

With these changes, we also wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to our outgoing board members for their dedication and service:

  • Amber Roberson (2020-2024)

With a robust portfolio of projects that run the full spectrum from basic science to translational research, 2025 is shaping up to be another important year for FPWR. Our board remains committed to working closely with the PWS and SYS communities to ensure maximum impact for all our stakeholders.
