House Resolution 55 needs your support!


 

ACTION ALERT! - Support House Resolution 55 TODAY!

A resolution supporting the establishment of a National Prader-Willi Syndrome Awareness Month has been introduced in Congress by Reps. Ed Royce (R, 40th, California) and Jane Harman (D, 36th, California). The FPWR needs your help in ensuring that this important resolution passes in 2009!

Besides the establishment of an awareness month, H. Res. 55 also:

  • supports raising awareness and educating the public about PWS;
  • applauds the efforts of organizations like the FPWR that encourage awareness, promote research, and provide education, support, and hope to those impacted by PWS;
  • recognizes the commitment of parents, families, researchers, health professionals, and others dedicated to finding an effective treatment and eventual cure for PWS;
  • supports increased funding for research into the causes, treatment, and cure for PWS.
